After the project is completed and reaches full production, it is expected to have an annual output of 5 GWh of solid-state lithium iron phosphate cells, 2 GWh of home and industrial/commercial energy storage, and 4 GWh of large-scale energy storage systems.

Recently, the Guangdong Provincial Energy Bureau approved the 'Energy Conservation Report of Jiangmen Shoutong New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. for the Production and Manufacturing Project of Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery Cells and Energy Storage Power Systems.'
The announcement shows that the project is located in Plot 2 on the north side of Xinzong Road, east of Provincial Road S272, Jiangmu Shuangtan New Energy Industrial Park, Muzhou Town, Xinhui District, Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province. The total investment is about 2 billion yuan, and it is expected to be put into operation in December 2026. The main construction content includes purchasing high-end production and manufacturing equipment from domestic and international sources, building production lines for lithium iron phosphate batteries and energy storage power systems, as well as auxiliary projects such as water supply and drainage, power supply and distribution, roads, and landscaping.
After the project is completed and reaches full production, it is expected to have an annual output of 5 GWh of solid-state lithium iron phosphate battery cells (314 Ah), 2 GWh of residential and commercial energy storage, and 4 GWh of large-scale energy storage systems; the main buildings include production workshops, office buildings, dormitory buildings, a sewage treatment station, warehouses, and supporting auxiliary facilities.
In terms of energy utilization technology, the project includes two core processes: lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cell production and home/business energy storage system assembly. LFP battery cell production mainly involves processes such as positive/negative electrode slurry preparation, coating and drying, rolling, slitting, stacked/wound battery production, welding and packaging, electrolyte filling, formation, and capacity grading inspection. Energy storage system assembly uses self-produced LFP battery cells, ensuring consistency through strict cell selection and matching, and employs modular design and laser welding for assembly, integrating a battery management system with intelligent charging and discharging strategies and multiple safety protections.
According to the information, Jiangmen Shoutong New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. is a company under China Yunlong Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd., established in July 2024, located in Xinhui District, Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, focusing on energy storage technology services, photovoltaic equipment and component manufacturing, as well as technology promotion.
